With the NX Eagle, SRAM is presenting an affordable entry point to their carefree 12-speed drives. The translation range of 455% covers all areas of use, from the flat to the high mountains, without having to put up with the additional weight and poorer shifting performance of a front derailleur. Thanks to the robust cassette, the NX Eagle is the only e-bike compatible 12-speed group.
With its 1-way specific X-Horizon design, the NX Eagle rear derailleur adopts numerous technologies from the XX1 Eagle top group. The large offset of the upper jockey wheel results in a constant chain spacing and ensures precise shifting. A lower derailleur roller with 14 teeth ensures that the chain runs quietly and with less resistance. The smoother running of the chain is supported by the optimized Type 3.0 cage damping, which effectively prevents the chain from beating on rough terrain. The extremely high tension of the rear derailleur cage and the X-Sync jockey wheels matched to the chain prevent the chain from jumping off even on the roughest trails.
