The Magura MT Trail Sport is the definition in terms of brake performance at an affordable price. This brake perfectly fits the important and thrilling range between MT8 and MT7, giving bikers the ultimate choice of fit for the purpose and overall weight to choose the optimal braking performance. In addition, MAGURA offers a selection of different brake pads and disc sizes for every intended use .
With its 4 brake pistons at the front and 2 brake pistons at the rear, it is optimally designed for trail and enduro use. With a weight of only 485 grams (without discs), it is one of the absolute lightweights in its segment. The low weight is achieved, among other things, by the transmitter unit made of Magura's newly developed Carbotecture SL material, which consists to a large extent of carbon fibers embedded in a thermoplastic matrix. Thanks to the Carboflow process, Magura can use this material to optimize its load and create homogeneous surfaces.
Magura has also taken care of MT Trail Sport for easy handling. For example, the lever width of the ergonomic 1-finger brake lever is adjustable. For a simple change of lining, the brake pistons are magnetic and thus guarantee a perfect fit of the brake pads.
Optimum heat dissipation is ensured by the new optional Storm HC rotor. Compared to its predecessor, it has become 10% lighter and has an optimized friction range. This increases the braking performance at lower wear values.
